Cookie Policy

Last Updated: March 7, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how SetForge ("we," "us," or "our"), available at setforge.space, uses cookies and similar browser-based storage technologies. By using the Service, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored in your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognize your browser, maintain your session, and remember certain preferences across visits.

In addition to traditional cookies, SetForge also uses browser local storage and session storage — similar mechanisms that store data locally in your browser without an expiration date (local storage) or only for the duration of your browser session (session storage).

2. What We Use Cookies and Local Storage For

SetForge is a functional web application, not a marketing or advertising platform. We use browser storage technologies strictly for the purposes necessary to operate the Service.

2.1 Authentication and Session Management

Session cookie (HTTP-only)Maintains your authenticated login session so you don't have to sign in on every pageUntil you sign out or the session expires (7 days)

These cookies are essential to operating the Service. Without them, you cannot remain logged in.

2.2 Security

This cookie is a security requirement and cannot be disabled without breaking the Service.

2.3 User Preferences

SetForge may store lightweight preference data (such as UI theme or display settings) in browser local storage. This data does not leave your device and is used only to improve your experience within the application.

2.4 Third-Party Cookies

SetForge does not use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics platforms (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel).

Stripe, our payment processor, may set its own cookies when you interact with payment flows. These cookies are governed by Stripe's Cookie Policy and are used for fraud prevention and payment security purposes.

3. What We Do NOT Use Cookies For

We want to be explicit about what we do not do:

  • We do not use cookies to track your behavior across other websites
  • We do not use cookies for targeted advertising or ad retargeting
  • We do not sell or share cookie data with data brokers or advertisers
  • We do not use third-party analytics cookies that report your usage to external services

4. Managing Cookies

4.1 Browser Settings

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View cookies currently stored
  • Block cookies from specific websites
  • Delete all cookies when you close your browser

Here are links to cookie management instructions for common browsers:

4.2 Impact of Disabling Cookies

Because SetForge's cookies are strictly functional, disabling them will prevent you from logging in and using the Service. We do not currently offer a cookie preference center, as we do not use any non-essential cookies that would require one.

4.3 Local Storage

Browser local storage cannot be controlled through cookie settings. To clear local storage, you can use your browser's developer tools or clear your browser's site data for setforge.space.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
