Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how subscription cancellations, billing, and refunds are handled for SetForge, available at setforge.space. SetForge subscriptions are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor.
1. Subscription Model
SetForge charges Coaches on a recurring basis — either monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected at sign-up. Clients do not pay SetForge directly; their access is provided through their Coach's subscription.
Subscription fees are charged automatically at the start of each billing period (monthly or annual) using the payment method on file.
2. Cancellation
2.1 How to Cancel
Coaches may cancel their subscription at any time by:
- Navigating to Settings > Billing within the SetForge platform, or
- Contacting us directly at [info@setforge.space]
Cancellation requests submitted by email will be processed within 2 business days.
2.2 When Cancellation Takes Effect
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged for the next period, but you will retain full access to the Service until your current paid period expires.
For example, if you are on a monthly plan and cancel on the 15th of the month, your access continues through the end of that month. You will not be charged for the following month.
2.3 Annual Plans
If you cancel an annual plan, your access continues through the end of the annual period you have paid for. You will not be charged for the following year.
3. Refund Policy
3.1 General Policy — No Refunds
SetForge does not issue refunds for:
- Partial months or partial years remaining after cancellation
- Periods during which you had access to the Service but chose not to use it
- Forgetting to cancel before the next billing cycle charged
All sales are final once a billing period has begun.
3.2 Exceptions
We may issue a refund or account credit at our sole discretion in the following limited circumstances:
- Billing errors: If you were charged incorrectly due to a technical error on our part, we will correct the charge and issue a full refund for the erroneous amount
- Duplicate charges: If your account was charged more than once for the same billing period, we will refund the duplicate charge
- Service unavailability: If SetForge experiences a significant, documented service outage that substantially prevented you from using the platform for an extended period, we may issue a prorated credit at our discretion
To request a refund under any of these circumstances, contact us within 14 days of the charge at [info@setforge.space] with your account email and a description of the issue.
3.3 Free Trial Cancellations
If you cancel during a free trial period before it converts to a paid subscription, you will not be charged. No refund is necessary as no payment was taken.
4. What Happens to Your Data After Cancellation
4.1 Access Period
After your subscription ends, your account and your Clients' accounts will be deactivated. You will no longer be able to log in, create programs, or access client data.
4.2 Data Retention Grace Period
SetForge retains your account data (including client records, workout programs, and logs) for 30 days after your subscription ends. During this window, you may contact [info@setforge.space] to request a data export before deletion.
4.3 Data Deletion
After the 30-day grace period, your account and associated data will be permanently deleted from our systems. This includes:
- Your Coach profile
- All client records linked to your account
- Workout programs and logs created under your account
Certain financial records (such as invoices) may be retained for a longer period as required by law.
4.4 Clients After Coach Cancellation
If your Coach cancels their subscription, your Client account will be deactivated when their subscription ends. You will not lose access immediately at the moment of cancellation — access continues until the billing period expires. If you wish to retrieve any of your personal workout data before deletion, you must request it during the 30-day grace period.
5. Plan Changes
5.1 Upgrading
If you upgrade your plan mid-cycle (for example, from Starter to Pro), the new plan takes effect immediately and you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period.
5.2 Downgrading
If you downgrade your plan mid-cycle, the downgrade takes effect at the start of your next billing period. You will continue on your current plan until then and will be charged at the lower rate starting with the next renewal.
6. Disputed Charges
If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us at [info@setforge.space] before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We are committed to resolving billing issues quickly and fairly. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated.
